Review of Gozu (2003) by Scott D — 11 Nov 2008
It's one of the few Miike films I can get through. "Gozu" and "Audition" are my two Miike go-to films. "Gozu" is like a movie David Lynch would make if he were to wake up from the fever of some deep substance abuse and tried kill it by drinking a quart of cheap vodka and then someone put a camera in his hands.
Makes Eraserhead seem sane by comparison.
