Review of Goosebumps (2015) by Abe F — 06 Dec 2015
There's something incredibly special about seeing R. L. Stine back in the limelight - many a nightmare was forged by way of his stories. Wrought with cliches, Goosebumps (the film) still serves as a faithful homage to those clever, creative but often hackneyed vignettes.
There's fun to be had, although I can't imagine the appeal stretching beyond those wild children of the 90s attempting to recapture lost youth.
