Review of Goosebumps (2015) by Spencer P — 01 Nov 2017
Ehhhhh.... not for me. Well first off, the movie had some good charm, it was cute by many means, but that's about it....
But here's some more details:
The movie never enitiated with the monsters they were going against, like the zombie scene for instance, anybody who likes zombie movies knows you don't just run, you kill them off oh and explain exactly WHY they revive themselves?
Why do the monsters revive themselves? The humor is not really for me either if anything, there really is no irony or anything like that, so what's the point in the humor? It's just plain silly....
HOWEVER, it wasn't terrible I enjoyed it more than I thought I would but then again, I'm more of a fan of family horror films like Coraline.... that type of thing, because it's creepy and has a good subtle story, this movie however, doesn't have much writing to back it up.
