Review of Goodnight Mommy (2015) by Chris F — 27 Dec 2015

I gave it two stars for the effort of trying to create a horror that doesn't conform to the mould. However, I caught on to the so called 'twist' 30 minutes into the movie. When it was revealed at the end I was fairly disappointed.

Maybe it would have been enjoyable for someone who did not clue in earlier. That being said, the cinematography was beautifully sophisticated and the story, to a point, engaging.
