Review of Good Night, and Good Luck. (2005) by Conundrum — 17 Feb 2006
Excellent. A gripping, well-crafted story. David Strathairn inhabits the role of the legendary Edward R Murrow, and reminds us of why he is a legend. The use of actual film of the contemptible Sen. McCarthy is brilliant.
The only negative thing I would have to say is that the characters could have been better developed. An important reminder of a dire and dangerous moment in American history.
