Review of Good Morning, Vietnam (1987) by Sarah C — 09 Mar 2011
Proof that another of the things I considered brilliant when I was 13 just hasn't stood the test of time. Robin Williams does his best impersonation of a hyperactive tourette's sufferer, surrounded by stereotypes representing a nation, and light brush strokes depicting a conflict.
While there is ultimate merit in this film, I spent too much time cringing in a slightly embarrassed fashion to really enjoy it wholeheartedly.
