Review of Good (2008) by Karel D — 31 Mar 2013
The film has an incredible story to tell. Though undoubtedly flawed, it does transition the stageplay to screen without forgetting the true subject of the story - I have not seen the play myself though.
'Good' shows you just how humane inhumane actions can be. How we all are quite susceptible to inhumanity and try to deny its existence while practicing the act in itself. It's not the one who swings the axe who's the most cruel, it's the standers-by whose silence approves the action.
Horrible, but though flawed, it's nicely portrayed in 'Good'.
