Review of Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson (2008) by Cameron K — 13 Jul 2010
This portrait is much too conventional, too slick to capture the real Hunter S. Thompson, with a soundtrack that starts to feel like someone just recorded a run of KEARTH tunes, but the personality and antics of the character himself, as well as some tasty original material, make it a worthwhile viewing nonetheless.
It's not going to teach you much you didn't already know about the man, but it might be a decent introduction to neophytes.
