Review of Gone with the Wind (1939) by Shawn T — 19 Jun 2012
Epic in scope â" Beautiful sets, costumes, music. Nice blend of romance and drama. Ashleyâ(TM)s weakness doesnâ(TM)t couple well with his lofty ideals. You just want to punch him. Melanie is equally as irritating with her exaggerated goodness and blindness to other peoplesâ(TM) flaws.
She comes across as ridiculously naïve. You just want to shake some sense into her. Lastly, who doesnâ(TM)t love Rhett and Scarlet?
