Review of Gone with the Wind (1939) by Hazel M — 15 Mar 2016
It only took me 47 Years but I finally got around to seeing this classic movie. It certainly lives up to its reputation, the movie is absolutely beautiful. Vivian Leigh and (maybe to a lesser extent) Clark Gable are magnificent in their roles.
The story is grand and certainly well worth the 4 hour viewing time. The big thing about this though that really wowed me what the absolutely lush cinematography in every shot. There is rarely a shot in this that didn't made me go "Oooooh!" Many not the best movie I've ever seen but certainly in the top five for sure.
