It has always been one of my most loved movies. My wife had never saw this classic, so I made her watch it. She liked it so that she now also shares in my love for the movie. While some review it based upon its historical value, it really isn't based upon history.
It is based upon a fictional novel. Which is an even better telling of the story than the movie is.
