Review of Gone with the Wind (1939) by Ashley H — 08 Jan 2012
Gone With the Wind is a stunning film. It is about a manipulative woman (Scarlett O'Hara) and a roguish man (Rhett Butler) carry on a love affair in the American south during the Civil War and Reconstruction.
Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable, and Hattie McDaniel give incredible performances. The screenplay is well written and exciting. Victor Fleming did an amazing job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama and romance.
Gone With the Wind is a must see.
