Review of Gone Girl (2014) by Johnathan M — 14 Aug 2015
I had heard and read some poor reviews of this so watched with pretty low expectations. I'd also read the book which I'd found a bit of a struggle. To be fair I enjoyed it, it's not amazing but decent enough and nowhere near as bad as some of the stuff I read about it.
It's a good story and the everyone puts in decent performances. The tension could have been ratcheted up a bit but all in all its a very watchable film.
