Gone Girl strives, right from the start immersing its audience with it's quirky yet stylish use of dialogue and perfect blend of dark humour. Powerful acting from Pike, as well as Affleck.The pacing is set just right, not to mention the perfect timing reveal of the second act and the aftermath it follows.
