Review of Gone Girl (2014) by Steve S — 14 Apr 2016
Perhaps the main thing that catapults this movie to a five-star rating is Rosamund Pike's performance - the most compelling acting I have ever seen on screen. David Fincher's directorial work is, as always, very well done and Ben Affleck was well suited to his role.
Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' soundtrack is magnificent, with motifs and rhythms that stay in your mind and make you think about the movie long after it has finished.
