With David Fincher's assured direction complementing magnificent performances (especially Rosamund Pike's star turning performance as complex Amy), Gone Girl is a fascinating portrayal of a relationship gone wrong through a suspenseful mystery thriller and a perfect companion piece to its Gillian Flynn penned novel of the same name.
