Review of Goldfinger (1964) by James F — 01 Feb 2011
Truly a classic, but is it the best bond of all? Well of rootie-tootie course it is! I mean, The Theme Song, and the golden woman, and the aston martin db5 chase sequence, and Connery's 12 oclock shadow during the laser torture treatment, not to mention oddjob.
It had it all, plus storyline and character development to boot. The only parts that suck are when goldfinger gets his fat body sucked out a tiny window, and when one of goldfinger's henchmen gets crushed by a vault door going at 2 mph.
(careful you might miss this one). Well anyways, its just near perfect. 99%.
