Perhaps the weirdest Godzilla film of them all. The Monster King battles the Smog Monster in an LSD trip from hell. The direction is extremely mixed, the music is out there and the final battle drags on forever.
Hedorah is a cool villain and the military is used for good comic relief though. Is it an art film, an environmental PSA, 70s exploitation or a Godzilla movie? You be the judge. Or better yet don't even try.
