Review of Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters (2017) by Michael M — 03 Mar 2018

I found this flick to be very bland, wooden, dull and lifeless. For many fans who've complained about past movies not showing enough Godzilla, they'll really be let down as he doesn't really show up until the end, and even then his scenes are unimpressive, he just basically stands there, does nothing except fire a few shots.

While the plot is not too interesting, under the right director it could've worked. Instead it just drags along, with a bunch of characters who are shallow and don't stand out, making you not care what happens to them, which ultimately makes their storyline and film's plot pointless.

This movie was a huge let down.
