Review of Godzilla, King of the Monsters! (1956) by Alexander F — 06 Jun 2009
The original Japanese version is the best! It's a completely different story from the American version. Also, by listening to the commentary, I've picked up more of the cultural nuances that are not apparent to American audiences.
Fascinating how the Japanese psyche was post WWII in reaction to this movie.
