Review of Godzilla (1998) by Mitchell B — 17 Apr 2014
This film is an insult to the king of the monsters. An big-budget abomination that belongs in B-movie territory. This "Americanized" version of Godzilla is nothing more than a giant iguana. The anti-nuclear messages are missing, The sense of dread and helplessness from the original Gojira are missing.
Godzilla gets stuck on a bridge and is killed by missiles from fighter jets. WHAT?!
