Review of God's Not Dead 2 (2016) by Sarah G — 02 Apr 2016
Yet another of the faux "Christian persecution" films that are being vomited out of studios lately.
People, Christians in America are the least persecuted people on the planet. The fact that this film had to invent a literally impossible scenario just goes to show they couldn't dredge up any REAL discrimination. Usually this situation happens in reverse- a non-Christian who has the audacity to complain when public schools break the law to promote religion is harassed, threatened, and/or beaten and run out of town.
Never mind that the acting is dreadful, the characters that are non-Christians repugnant caricatures of what conservative Christians THINK nonbelievers are like, and the script is so hackneyed as to be laughable.
Maybe if this were billed as a comedy...
