So many times you see people making documentaries like this with extreme emotional manipulation in mind. This is not so in God Grew Tired of Us. It chronicles the lives of a select few Lost Boys of the Sudan in their relocation journey to America.
All that these young men have faced, overcome and continue to deal with in this lifetime is incredible even without a dramatic score in the background or subjective narration. Nicole Kidman narrates.
