Review of God Grew Tired of Us (2006) by Jay A — 15 Apr 2011
The only thing that keeps me from giving this five stars and adding it to my favorites is that after all the effort quinn put in so that we get a real understanding of how horrible and saddening the situation in Sudan is and what it's like for those few who actually get away from it I felt like there should have been some real information on how people can help and what options are available for us to be part of a positive change in that terrible situation.
still a must see, it's upsetting how blind we allow ourselves in america to be to the rest of the world. We put so much effort, time, and attention into the most empty and pointless things that offer no real value at all (ie sports, reality television, e entertainment, gossip magazines, new cars, bigger homes, bigger televisions, working out etc.
...) can you imagine if we put that focus and time on something of Real value and importance all the good that we could actually accomplish.
