Review of Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning (2004) by Craig P — 10 Jan 2005
The only attraction to watching a prequel is seeing what the process is for the beginning of the original movie. The dissappointing side is that the end result is set in stone. For this reason, Batman Begins will suck as well as possibly SW:RotS.
Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning is no exception. The fact that it is only produced for the sole purpose of raking in more money for a franchise is embrassing to everyone involved in it. Granted I've yet to view the original or the sequel, I already knew the ending because they already had the future movies already made.
The movie's dialouge was rather stilted, not sounding like the era. The werewolves, yes werewolves, looked similar to creatures from The Neverending Story. There is not much to say as the supposedly humourous cutting remarks were just ridiculous and out of place.
Oh and did I mention this is another Canadian classic?
