Review of Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning (2004) by Mark L — 16 Jul 2011
The third installment in the series, a prequel of sorts (it takes place in the 19th century, but features the same characters as the other movies), is on par with the original. The effects are much better, but its focus is again mainly on Ginger whom I find to be the less interesting of the sisters. The storyline is hardly original, and it doesn't make sense if you try to reconcile its existence with the other two movies, but the acting is decent. Fairly tame horror movie with no real surprises. Worth watching if you've seen the other two in the franchise.
