Review of Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning (2004) by Alec J — 10 Mar 2015
I thought the first movie was an interesting quirky take on the werewolf story and teenage identity, sometimes poorly executed but entertaining enough, Ginger Snaps Back though was a pretty decent prequel.
Production values weren't much better than the original but the story was good and acting was OK. The decision to take the story back in time to 1815 wasn't terribly original but worked well. there were enough stereotypical characters and enough social commentary about the time.
A worthwhile addition to the werewolf pantheon.
