Review of Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning (2004) by Lisa Michelle A — 28 Jan 2012
This is a really good ending to the Ginger Snaps films. It shows how Ginger and Brigitte from the first two films end up becoming Werewolves, that basically it was always in their destiny, well...Ginger's at least. A very violent film in places but still a great one. Possibly the most violent of the three. I don't usually like films that are prequels but this was an exception. Showing Ginger and Brigitte's ancestors was a good idea, and how one day, the cures would find present day Ginger and Brigitte.
The best lines (in no particular order):
Ginger: [after Hunter whistles at them] "Did he just whistle at us?2.
Brigitte: "I'm sure he meant the dog.".
Ginger: "The air is bloody...".
Ginger: "You are all I have, I will not kill you.".
Ginger: "A bond that would not be broken. Above men, above God, above fate. Together forever.".
[last lines].
Brigitte: "The day of reckoning - the day the curse grew stronger in the Red and the Black. Sisters united in blood, together forever.".
My Actor/Actress review:
Katherine Isabelle - really creepy as Ginger.
Emily Perkins - a litte boring as Brigitte in this one.
