Review of Gigi (1958) by Avy T — 29 Dec 2007
Great acting and I felt that the songs flow naturally from the story. It really was a delightful story and a wonderful romantic one at that.
If you are in the mood for a good classic film, Gigi does not disappoint.
However, I have no idea how it won 9 Academy awards (making it the fourth winningest film in Oscar history.).
Also, it has one of the strangest lyrics I have ever heard for a song: "Thank heaven for little girls" sung by an old man... creepy...
