Review of Giant (1956) by Alison C — 05 Apr 2010
It's like _Gone With the Wind_ meets _Citizen Kane_ with a dash of _To Kill a Mockingbird_. Could have done with a little more time in the editing suite, but Stevens succeeds in telling an interesting story about generational conflict, romantic conflict, ethnic conflict, and the apparent inability of U.
S. culture to progress.
