Even better animation than the first.
Even better character development than the first.
Even more thought-provoking and philosophical than the first.
Enough said. See it.
The only thing I didn't like when I watched it was having to read subtitles when I could've been further admiring the awe-inspiring visuals. But it's better than hearing the lackluster American voice-acting that 90% of animes have that give them a bad name. This one is definitely smarter and more difficult to follow, but those who watch it with an open mind and 100% of their attention will be rewarded.
