Review of Ghost in the Shell (1995) by Zachary G — 05 Jul 2011
A film that has aged worse than I expected. Viewing it again, I couldn't stop thinking how much Atsuko Tanaka's voice acting ability has improved since this film, a major problem considering Major is the lead role of this film.
That being said, the score is excellent, the visuals are done well, and the story is complex and interesting, though difficult for someone who isn't familiar with the "Ghost in the Shell world" to understand.
