Never has such a film been the epitome of 'have patience and ye shall be rewarded,' possibly the most famous concept from the mind of Shirow Masamune, this is one film that proves not all anime is for nerds. Forget other science fiction pieces that claim to show a vision of the future, if you want to know what the world will be doing in 20 years, Ghost In The Shell will get you closer than anything else.
Welcome to the future, from the early 90's, you'll be amazed how close it hits home.
