I don't care what anyone says. Yes, there's a lot of talking, and yes, the beards look awful, but underneath lies one of the best Civil War films ever released. A great cast and thousands of reenactors came together to make a film about the bloodiest battle in the Civil War, that people of almost any age can watch and appreciate the sacrifices made during those three days.
