Review of Gettysburg (1993) by Andrew B — 03 Mar 2008
Gettysburg is what I'd call a history-lover's film. This film takes great steps towards historical accuracy, presenting the Battle of Gettysburg with nothing that isn't in the history books.
The film has quality that seems more fit for TV than the big screen, but it has it's share of thrilling moments. This is a great film for people who like history. Others may not like it as much, however.
