Review of Gettysburg (1993) by Jeremy F — 04 Jun 2008
A decent stab at telling the story of a three-day battle - and nothing less than a Ted Turner home movie. Daniels, Sheen and Berenger were the 'stars' but scene stealers were Stephen Lang (Pickett), Sam Ellliott (Buford) and in his last film Richard Jordan (as Armistead, in his last battle).
Much better than Gods and Generals, the prequel which followed.
