I'm really disappointed with this film. It looked so good and ended being boring as hell. I kind of had a hard time even finishing it. Is not even that it is a 'Bad' movie. It just is not a good one.
The idea behind the film is rather endearing, but it just takes to long to play out and doesn't have as much energy as you would expect. It should be over-the-top, goofy, and boozy, and it all feels awfully conventional.
It's like a sarcastic episode of The Waltons or non-preachy Christy. So, the long and short of it, is that while I didn't like the film by any means, I do not feel enough of anything towards it to feel anything else.
It's just too bland and forgettable.
