Review of Get Carter (1971) by Jordan F — 23 Mar 2011
I had seen the so-called "terrible" remake of this starring Sylvester Stallone before I saw this original version with Michael Caine. and after seeing both films now I can honestly say that they are 2 totally different movies with the same story and score but sooooo many events are different.
I think Michael Caine's version of Jack Carter was alot more better than Stallone's. Caine's was more cold-blooded and evil where as Stallone's was a bit more lenient. all in all I liked both versions of Get Carter but honestly im gonna have to say that I liked the 2000 remake more.
it was alot more exciting and drak and gritty.
