Brilliant, yes. Masterpiece? Oh so close. It is scarily close to perfect on just about every level, dialogue, acting, cinematography etc. Having inflicted this film on various friends however the slow pacing borders on the annoying.
Would it be as good if had been trimmed? That's a good debate to have with your mates if they're still awake after this one.
