Review of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953) by Bob T — 16 Oct 2010
Mixed feelings on this film. I loved the sassy Jane Russell, in all her boy crazed glory, and the ever fluffy Marilyn Monroe, but there wasn't enough pomp and circumstance. The numbers were lackluster except for the monumental "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend.
" The plot was sketchy, and the humor up and down. Not the best musical, but still entertaining.
