This courageous Best Picture pick was one of the earliest movies to deal with the issue of Antisemitism/Racism in the United States.
Elia Kazan does an excellent job of directing in this film. He believes in the message of this movie and he demonstrates that fact fully.
Peck does a top notch job and the message comes through loud and clear.
Well worth watching, well worth listening too. Hollywood being bold in a time when it was wrong to be bold.
