Review of Gentleman's Agreement (1947) by Fernando G — 01 Nov 2007
I rarely rate movies without finishing them, but I'm going to make an exception here. I found a big part of this movie to be laughable/mildly anti-Semitic (ironic since itâ??s a movie about exposing anti-Semitism).
The scene where Gregory Peck suddenly has the epiphany that not all Jews have giant noses and walk around with Yamahas talking about money and the price of bagels was laughable. I found this movie forced, fake, and condescending.
