Review of Gentleman's Agreement (1947) by Daniel S — 26 Jan 2009
Peck does a great job in his role as a journalist who pretends to be Jewish after deciding to write articles dealing with anti-Semitism. Just as Guess Who's Coming to Dinner tackled racism, this movie tackles the anti-Semitism of the day.
The romance seems forced but without it, this movie wouldn't be the same.
