Review of Gattaca (1997) by Gustav W — 19 Feb 2011
This really is a classic. After revisiting Inception and really digging it I've decided to revisit some older sci-fi classics. Concpetually it's believable and it doesn't rely on the hi-tech or futuristic vision to make it an interesting movie.
Doesn't require violence either. Overall it certainly passes the "it's possible" test. Compare to say Equilibrium, which is good but overdoes the accompanying story context.
