Review of Ganga (1960) by Ulises G — 06 May 2008
Scorsese is right: The movie is like a painting who portraits a colorful past. The characters are not worked deeply like in other Renoir's movies. However, the story is well narrated and beautifully filmed, 100% in India.
I would like to read Godden's novel.
