Review of Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris (1999) by Tori D — 12 Oct 2009
Extremely overrated, but still a blast. Not a whole lot of focus on Gamera, but completely necessary, as seen in the end. The action sequences are phenomenal, and the plot is (as always) intriguing and original.
Great to have cast from the first film back for the third, as well, the new members are just as good. The effects aren't up to snuff, but are easily satisfying. Another epic Kaiju film from the talented Shusuke Kaneko.
