Review of Gamer (2009) by Jordan V — 03 Apr 2012
I expected a terrible film, but I really REALLY like it. The action scenes in the game aren't that great and I feel the film could have had a less insane "Society" world. However, the ideas behind this are genius and thought provoking, the last 30 minutes are totally kick-ass, and all the roles were casted well.
The directing is also very cool, and I understand why some wouldn't like it, but I think it fits the world it's trying to show. Overall great stuff! I recommend it.
