Review of Game Night (2018) by Anthony K — 28 May 2018

Game Night is a really funny, really well executed film with exceptional camera work (the faberge egg sequence is masterful), the latter of which was extremely unexpected. It was a little distracting, frankly, because you don't typcially see directorial flourishes of that caliber in a comedy film, but here we are.

If I have one complaint, it's that you could probably shave off about 10 minutes worth over saccarine sentimentality that I don't think really belongs in this movie, but it's a minor complaint.

I was laughing throughout the entire run time of this film, and that is something that is rare and truly impressive.
