Review of Game Night (2018) by Alizodiac — 24 Aug 2020

I've seen this a few years ago when it came out and I remember I enjoyed it a lot. I recommended to watch it with family and made me realize what a fun, crazy ride it is! I rarely enjoy comedies, and on paper this sounds like a another recycled story. But it's so well executed that it's easily rewatchable. Rachel McAdams is hilarious and her chemistry with Batemen is brilliant. Jesse Plemon's character is memorable. Honestly the entire cast is brilliant. Another aspect that surprised me is how well the action sequences are done. They were thrilling, engaging and playful. Some neat camerawork there.

Giving this full marks because it's a solid, fun, hilarious, exciting comedy thriller that is just as good with multiple viewing.
