With John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein's "Game Night," you're not only given one of the funniest big Hollywood comedies in recent years, but you're also given a suprisingly well-directed action romp, and a fun little ode to David Fincher's "The Game" as well.
It's got a killer, laugh-a-minute pace, a talented cast (spearheaded by Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams and rounded out by a shockingly hilarious supporting appearance from Jesse Plemons), and a distinct, visually stimulating take on the matters at hand, ultimately elevating the overall experience to one I won't soon forget.
